Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings

NEW SINGLE “LET’s GO” OUT NOW

"Let's Go" is a powerful and inspiring rock anthem that showcases the band's unique blend of classic and modern rock sensibilities. The song's driving beat and electrifying guitar riffs create a sense of urgency and excitement, urging listeners to take action and seize the moment.

"Let's Go" is just the first taste of what's to come from Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings - an album is planned for release later this year.

BAND BIO

Eddie Roxy was a founder member of Department S in 1980. The band was predominantly remembered for their hit single IS VIC THERE? But it’s often forgotten that the follow-up GOING LEFT RIGHT was also a top 40 recording. After leaving the band, Eddie formed Dream Sequence in 1982. He recorded OUTSIDE LOOKING IN with producers Swaine & Jolley, which sold well across Europe. In 2006, over a glass of red wine with Department S’s band leader Mike Herbage, the two decided to reform the band, releasing several well-received recordings and touring the UK and the continent.

In 2022 Eddie felt his time in the band had run its course. It was now time to move on to new pastures, at which point he bumped into an old friend Calle Engelmark and formed Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings.

Before moving to the UK, Calle was a long-term music veteran in Sweden, US, and Canada. He is best known for his seven-year stint as the guitarist for the British punk band The Members. However, many bands have exploited his musicality, including seminal punk band The Fits, Small Town Glory (with Eddie McDonalds) and Rocket 66.

As with all bands, their strength is the core of the rhythm section, so having Paul Anthony (founder of UK punk band Who Killed Nancy Johnson?) on bass and the vast experience of session drummer Ivan Hoe on drums would always be an asset.
